Meet Our Team: Three Adventurers on a Record-Breaking Journey Across the Atlantic
Rowan Dally
Rowan is the oldest member of the team, being 21 years old when he attempts the challenge. In everyday life, Rowan works full time in the Ocean Rowing Industry at Rannoch Adventure.
He is also boat crew at Burnham on Crouch RNLI station where he is the stations Lifeboat Training Coordinator, meaning he is personally responsible for the training of lifesaving operations at the station. Rowan was a Cadet Warrant Officer in the Air Cadets, the highest Rank a Cadet can achieve in the Organisation.
During his time in the RAFAC, Rowan was able to fly multiple aircraft, shoot and do his Gold Duke of Edinburgh award, much of it being completed with his team mates Anna and Harry. One of Rowan’s biggest achievements in the Air Cadets was being invited to Buckingham Palace, where he was the personal escort to His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh.

Anna Dunk
Anna is the youngest member, and will be 19 during the crossing. Currently, she is studying for her A Levels, which are in June. As a part-time job, she works at McDonalds!
In her spare time, she is a Flight Sergeant in the Air Cadets, the highest rank on her squadron. In addition to this, she is training to be a Community First Responder, a volunteer who is trained to respond to medical emergencies in her local area, often arriving on the scene before an ambulance, to provide initial life-saving care.
During her time in the Air Cadets, Anna has taken part in many activities including leadership, shooting, flying and gliding. Her favourite activity by far is First Aid as she is now able to teach a basic level to new cadets. Her biggest achievement was meeting HRH Princess of Wales at RIAT 2023!

Harry, although being the most handsome and funniest team member, is actually only 19 years of age. Fun Fact: Harry will turn 20 in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean!
Harry has taken part in a plethora of activities in the Air Cadets and gained many qualifications such as Gold DofE, leadership, outdoor adventure training and so much more. His most notable achievement is completing the Air Cadet Pilot Scholarship where he flew an RAF aircraft solo!
Harry is off for university in September to study Economics with International Finance and Banking. After he graduates he dreams of becoming a fast-jet pilot in the RAF.
In his spare time, Harry is a Coastguard Rescue Officer for HMCG and works frequently with Rowan in the RNLI.
Harry also enjoys spending his spare time playing golf, going to the gym and hanging out with his mates.

Partnership Director and Honorary 4th member!Bernie Hollywood OBE JP is the ‘Three Flying Fish’ Partnership Director who is responsible for securing the finances required to complete the ‘Worlds Toughest Row’ Atlantic Challenge, through initiative partnerships.
Bernie is an internationally renowned & critically acclaimed 'third sector' chair, leader, advisor & professional storyteller having advised thousands of charities, voluntary groups, social enterprises & governments, he has spoken actively on numerous occasions at the United Nations - New York City, USA / Nairobi, Kenya / United Kingdom, various Governmental Parliaments, TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) Talks, Global Corporate Conferences & Launches, Universities, High & Primary Schools.
Bernie is one of the worlds most accomplished adventurers having rowed solo 3,540 miles and 109 days alone at sea across the Atlantic Ocean, reached the Geographic Poles, climbed some of the worlds highest mountains, trekked unsupported through deserts, cycled across continents, ran over 150 marathons (41 ultra-marathons solo consecutively back to back in 20 days, that's 1,074.2 miles or 53.7 miles per day) & is a holder of a prestigious Guinness World Record too!
Bernie was appointed by 'His Royal Majesty King Charles' to act as a 'Justice of the Peace' within Merseyside & Cheshire & sits on a regular basis in the Liverpool, Birkenhead and Sefton Courts.
Over the last 43 years Bernie has been responsible for raising over 42 million pounds for Charities, Social Enterprise & Voluntary Groups that he advises & supports here within the United Kingdom, The Commonwealth and around the World.
His work continues apace today as he chairs & sits on the board of a number of charities, mentoring hundreds to people within the sector, lecturing & consulting around the world on effective 'Third Sector' ESG (Environmental, Social and (corporate) Governance). This means we can all contribute to broader societal priorities, including those set out by the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).
Bernie’s strategy is shaped by 2 key areas: ‘people’ & ‘planet’. People: means driving change for the better for everyone. Planet: means protecting the world’s resources and tackling climate change.
